Harvest and Harper Wave   

Diana Baroni will join Harper Collins on October 7 as svp, publisher for both Harvest and a rejuvenated Harper Wave, with publishing strategy and operations for two brought “under one unified vision.” The imprints will move to the Morrow Group and Baroni will report to Liate Stehlik. Harper Wave titles had been transferred to Harper earlier this year after founding publisher Karen Rinaldi transitioned to executive editor there.

Baroni has been editor-in-chief and publisher at Harmony Books and Rodale Books.

Harvest vp and editorial director Deb Brody will retire at the end of September.

Shelf Awareness   

Co-founder, publisher and animating force Jenn Risko is leaving the company on Friday, with co-founder John Mutter becoming the full owner.

Matt Baldacci is promoted to publisher, and Neil Strandberg is promoted to CEO.

Audible   

Lee Jarit is promoted to global head of publisher and partner relations. Jaris has been at the company for more than a decade, most recently as head of ACX and North America publisher partnerships.

Pave Publishing   

Kerri Kolen has joined the start-up line as vice president, reporting to Pave Studios founder Max Cutler. Most recently, she was vp and head of audiobooks at Pushkin Industries.

 

Catapult/Counterpoint/Soft Skull   

Lily Philpott has joined as events manager. Previously she was director of programs & partnerships at the Asian American Writers’ Workshop.

Bloomsbury   

Harriet LeFavour has been promoted to editor.

Lauren Wilson has been promoted to associate publicist.

Anne McGilvray & Company   

Lisa Bach has joined as director of sales and publisher relations at the gift sales agency. Bach was previously executive director of global sales at Chronicle.

HG Literary   

Wendi Gu has joined as agent. She was previously at Sanford J. Greenburger Associates.

Maria B. Campbell Associates   

Sara Vitale has been promoted to senior scout.

Nina Dahan-Reljich and Madi Tower have each been promoted to junior scout.

University of California Press   
Margo Irvin joins as senior editor, acquiring books in ancient history, world history, and religious studies. Previously, she was an editor at Stanford University Press, acquiring books in history and Jewish studies.
