Banta Sells — to Donnelly Banta has found a solution to the persistent, unwanted takeover bids from Cinveo: They’ve agreed to a $1.3 billion sale to Donnelly instead. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of next year. Banta’s revenues are approximately $1.5 billion, and the sale price is $100 million higher than Cinveo’s bid. French Publishers Join Suit The French Publishers’ Association has officially joined in La Martiniere Group’s lawsuit against Google over their Book Search service, filed last June.
