Adult Fiction Grew 19 Percent in November

The Association of American Publishers released November StatShot data from reporting publishers, noting trade sales of $818 million for the month, up 6 percent from 2023. Adult books drove the increase, with sales up 10 percent to $571 million. Fiction sales grew 19 percent to $273 million and nonfiction grew 2 percent to $298 million. Hardcover sales were up 8 percent to $228 million (40 percent of the market), paperbacks grew 13.6 percent to $167 million (29 percent), ebooks were up 1 percent to $71.2 million (12 percent), and audio continued to lead digital formats, growing 16 percent to $82 […]

Bertelsmann Employees Will Use ChatGPT Enterprise, Help AI Company In “Distributing” Content
