Murphy to Leave Harper; Stehlik to Add Oversight of Children’s Division
President and publisher of Harper Children’s Suzanne Murphy “will be leaving the company to pursue other interests” at the end of September, the company announced. President and publisher for the Morrow Group Liate Stehlik will take on additional responsibilities, serving as president and publisher for Harper Children’s as well. Forthcoming: THE TRUMP INDICTMENTS
On September 25, Mariner Books will publish the complete indictments against Donald Trump as THE TRUMP INDICTMENTS: The 91 Criminal Counts Against the Former President of the United States, edited and with an introduction by MSNBC correspondent Ali Velshi. The book will include the cases brought in New York, Georgia, and federal courts that accuse the former president of mishandling classified documents and attempting to overturn the 2020 election, which are “purposely crafted as narratives to be read by the public,” according to a press release. Mariner publisher Peter Hubbard acquired the book from Byrd Leavell at United Talent Agency.

Co-founder and president of Abbeville Press, Robert E. Abrams, 80, died on August 28. He created Abbeville in 1977 along with his late father, Harry N.
