Headline Publishing Group in the UK is launching a new nonfiction imprint called Headline Press with a focus on politics, current affairs, history, personal development, popular science and memoir. Publisher Martin Redfern will lead, with senior commissioning editor Bianca Bexton, and assistant editor Holly Purdham also joining. Atria Books will relaunch Washington Square Press in spring 2025 as a frontlist hardcover imprint of literary fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. The imprint will shift its focus from backlist to publish four to six new books per season. New Sourcebooks Children’s Book Imprint
Sourcebooks will launch a new children’s book imprint, broadly publishing fiction, nonfiction, and graphic titles across age categories. It will publish 16-24 titles per year. Joining Sourcebooks on April 11 to build the imprint are two editorial staffers from Katherine Tegen Books: Ben Rosenthal, who was editorial director, and Mabel Hsu, who was executive editor.
